At Llandovery Prep we see the enormous benefits of a caring and supportive House system and every pupil, whether they are day or boarding, belongs to a House. This fosters the strong community and family feel of the school whilst providing an opportunity for pupils to be rewarded for great work, behaviour or good manners by earning points for their House. This promotes a strong sense of belonging and loyalty, giving all pupils a point of reference and a focus for deep bonds of friendship.
There are three Houses in the Prep School: Llynwelyn, Glyndwr and Gruffydd.
The House system runs throughout the Prep School and provides greater opportunities for inter-House competitions, leadership and mentoring and your child will be surrounded by like-minded, positive role models where their academic education is supported by a holistic and well-rounded approach to building and expanding on life skills.
