Llandovery College recently welcomed the 2019 winner of the Tom Gravell Scholarship. Nahiara Bonillo, from Trevelin in the Chubut Valley in Patagonia is the seventeenth recipient of this prestigious Scholarship that continues to forge strong links between Wales and Patagonia (Y Wladfa).

Nahiara will spend one term at Llandovery College and as a boarder will have the opportunity to immerse herself in the academic and social life of the school. Like her predecessors she will be based in the Welsh Department, furthering her own Welsh skills and bringing a new and additional element to the classroom.

Nahiara can look forward to an action packed itinerary with additional trips and events planned in association with the Welsh-Argentinian Society.
