Llandovery College pupils recently celebrated the ‘Shwmae Su’mae’ (Hello, how are you) Day. October 15 is the national day to celebrate the Welsh language across the world and has as its motto: ‘Mae’r Gymraeg yn perthyn i bawb / The Welsh language belongs to everyone.’ This annual campaign promotes the idea of starting every conversation with shwmae, su’mae or shwdi.
