Warden

Mr D. Findlay

"A graduate from Exeter University, Mr Findlay is married to Sarah and has two children Will and Tor, the former studying at Loughborough University and the latter studying at Durham. Mr Findlay has been a Headmaster for 14 years in two schools, the latter being at Langley School in Norfolk. Very much a ‘people person’, he is passionate about positive outcomes both within and outside the classroom for all pupils.
Mr Findlay’s hobbies include all sports especially rugby, cricket and hockey, also travel, not to mention walking their springer spaniel Fraser. He is hugely excited about having the opportunity to lead Llandovery College into its next stage of development and feels very welcome by the wonderful community both at the College and surrounding area".
The College has an incredible heritage which I am keen to build upon, alongside providing outstanding opportunities for all its students within the beautiful setting of the Brecon Beacons.

Assistant Warden (Pastoral)

Mrs J. Edwards

Having started my teaching career in an Independent boarding school in Staffordshire, I joined Landovery College in 2013 as house mistress in Ty Llanofer, our girls boarding house.
Having recently joined the Senior Leadership team in the role of Assistant Warden: Pastoral, I have overall responsibility for the pastoral care of students both in boarding and day capacities. I am passionate about ensuring that every pupil gets the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally and I am ably supported.
I live within the College grounds with my son Macsen and during the school day teach Humanities and Health and Social Care.
